PAYE were instructed to carry out the external refurbishment of Grosvenor Hotel, adjacent to Victoria train station.

 

PAYE were employed as a package contractor for the external envelope, including:

  • Scaffolding to busy street elevations on Buckingham Palace Road.
  • Scaffolding to rear elevations overlooking Victoria Station.
  • Façade cleaning and repairs.
  • Full redecoration of windows, doors, railings and RWDPs including necessary repairs.
  • Remedial roof repairs including slate replacement and lead fixings.

 

Variations to the project included an increased specification to site security including tailored hoarding and alarms. Also, following surveys of the masonry, additional repairs were identified, and scaffold adaptions were required.
