Stonemasons x 4
Location: London
Attention Stonemasons.
PAYE Stonework & Restoration are one of the country’s largest and longest established companies in the heritage sector. We work with some prestigious clients restoring some of the most remarkable historic buildings across London and the South-East.
We’re currently recruiting for Stonemasons with a passion for working on historic buildings to join our hugely talented team.
Along with your experience and skills, you will have excellent organisational skills, be able to multitask and have great interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and all levels.
Day to day our Stonemasons are involved in:
- Carving or repairing of statues and memorials
- Making / carving and installing stonework, window jambs, mullions, archways and ornamental features
- On-site Banker works
- Letter carving
- Assisting with the organisation of materials and plant
- Assisting in planning and programming
We need someone who is willing to travel across our London sites, happy to take instruction and has a keen attention to detail.
You will need to:
- Comply with the Quality Assurance procedures
- Maintain Health & Safety standards
You will have achieved an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.
You must have your own hand tools. Mechanical plant will be provided by PAYE

Fixer/Restorers x3
Location: London

PAYE Stonework & Restoration are one largest and longest established companies in the heritage sector. We work with some prestigious clients restoring some of the most remarkable historic buildings across London and the South-East.
We’re currently recruiting for highly skilled Fixer/Restorers with a passion for working on historic buildings to join our team of experts. It is essential that your experience and skills should include the replacement/repair of broken or missing masonry units on listed buildings/facades.
You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to multitask and have great interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and all levels.
Day to day our Fixer/Restorers are involved in:
- the restoration of prestigious historic buildings and landmarks
- the restoration of buildings and monuments to their original condition
- Installation of handset cladding including all necessary EPDM’S, Cavity trays and similar
- Balustrade, coping, plinth and dye block installation
- Assisting with the organisation of materials and plant
- Assisting in planning and programming
We need someone who is willing to travel across our London sites, happy to take instruction and pays attention to detail.
You will need to:
- Comply with the Quality Assurance procedures
- Maintain Health & Safety standards
An NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
